I was born and raised in the north of Denmark, playing in the meadows, forests, and on the wild northern coast, where the wind, forest, and sea shaped my life and my heart. From an early age, I felt a deep connection to nature and a curiosity about the unseen forces that guide life.

My life journey has taken me to mystic places like Spiritual India and Nepal, and through years of study in Philosophy, Buddhism, Anthropology, Personal Development, NLP, Spirituality, Reality Transsurfing, as well as extensive reading of spiritual traditions — from Sokrates and Aurelius, to Jesus, Rumi, Buddha, and the oldest Sumerian texts — and years of exploring Norse Wisdom and Inner Alchemy, all of which have shaped who I am.

My professional path in design and game development, including 3D modeling for firms like LEGO, unexpectedly deepened my understanding of how consciousness works in the physical world. Later, I held highly demanding marketing roles, managing multi-million budgets in collaboration with global tech companies such as Sony and Apple — experiences that taught me structure, creativity, and the flow of energy in human systems.

For decades, I have studied work shared by shamans, wise women, and seiðr-workers — a winding theme full of surprises, yet always guiding me home to myself. I do not teach in the traditional sense; I hold space, share stories, and facilitate inner exploration, helping guests reconnect with their own inner wisdom and presence.

Ulla, Founder of NorseHeart

Each heart carries its home within.

Ulla

I am inspired by the ancient magic and spiritual heritage of Scandinavia, by the old wise ones and the spirits of the land, and by the timeless lessons in Norse myths, Yggdrasil, and the natural world. My work is rooted in authenticity, care, and presence, reflecting my belief that each heart already carries its home within.

At NorseHeart, my vision is to awaken this inner home through retreats and experiences that combine Norse mythology, nature, storytelling, and mindful practices — creating spaces where you can feel grounded, seen, and inspired.
